I am based in Pembrokeshire (S.W. Wales) and despite having had a variety of occupations, Photography has been my real passion.
The phrase, "A picture is worth a thousand words" seems to spring into my mind and the majority of my images also have a story behind them.

My interest in photography began at age 10 and I learned to develop film and print photographs by the age of 13. During the 80’s I purchased my 1st manual SLR camera second hand. From this I learned how to view light and shade in the way that a camera sees it, rather than the eye, which adjusts to light automatically. My love for colour and imagery led me to work with theatre lighting. I then progressed to working as a projectionist in cinema, which taught me about framing a subject.
My photographic style tends to be that of capturing a spontaneous moment and using the light as my inspiration to obtain a crisp and clear image.
